Document Preparation Services
Family Law Consulting (No Legal Representation)
For clients seeking a comprehensive case consultation beyond the initial meeting, we offer in-depth legal advice without court representation or document filing. This service is billed at $200 per hour, with no deposit required.
What this service includes:
Developing legal strategies and coaching on how to prepare for court hearings, settlement conferences, mediations, or trials.
Reviewing all documents related to your case.
Assisting with calculations for child support or spousal support.
Analyzing disclosure and discovery documents to help develop settlement proposals.
Explaining and coaching you through all stages of the divorce process, including discovery.
Attorney-Assisted Document Preparation (No Legal Representation)
Ideal for those who need an attorney to prepare legal documents and provide guidance on self-representation in court. Unlike Legal Document Assistants (LDAs), an attorney can offer legal advice.
Charged at $200 per hour, no deposit required.
Most document preparation sessions require approximately three hours, but you pay only for the actual time spent.
Documents are prepared during the appointment with the attorney.
This fee covers attorney time only; court filing fees, processing fees, and other administrative costs are separate and will be advised accordingly. The attorney can also assist in determining eligibility for court fee waivers.
Uncontested/Amicable Divorce – Flat Fee Service
For couples who have resolved all issues including asset division, debts, spousal support, child support, custody, and visitation.
The flat fee covers attorney services for preparation of all necessary documents to initiate and finalize your divorce.
Additional court fees (filing, process serving, QDRO preparation, etc.) are not included and will be billed separately.
After the initial consultation, you will receive a flat fee quote tailored to your specific needs. This will be the total attorney fee for the service.
Pre- and Postnuptial Agreements
We offer flat-fee services for preparation or review of prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, including full attorney representation to protect your legal interests.
Limited Scope Representation
This service allows you to retain an attorney for specific tasks without full case management—ideal if you want professional help on certain matters while handling the rest yourself.
Flat fee, prepaid, with no hidden costs for attorney services.
Additional fees such as court filing, expert witnesses, and processing fees are separate.
Examples of limited scope services:
Preparation of motions and first court appearances (including motion drafting, conferring with the opposing party, and court attendance).
Trial preparation without court attendance (trial briefs, legal research, witness interviews, exhibit and binder preparation).
Court representation for hearings or trials (charged per half or full day).
Settlement conference preparation (statement preparation, conferring with the opposing party, and attendance at the first conference).
Other services will be quoted during your consultation.
